Ciprian's Story

Ciprian is one of the first beneficiary of the centre. From the age of 10 he has been diagnosed with oligophrenia and psychical disorders, which sometimes manifests with a violent behaviour. Besides this his sensory and locomotory functions are severely affected. All his body movements are reacting very slow.  

He enjoys a lot singing in the church's chorus. Also, he is a sociable character who likes to talk with the other young adults and participate in group activities. Ciprian is a very close friend of Radu! They know each other for a long time.

Sometimes he becomes quite nervous and annoyed when his wishes are rejected. The approach being used to calm him down matters a lot in order to make a difference. His special treatment for oligophrenia keeps his behaviour under control and is an essential key in making his participation in group activities possible.
