Lorand's Story:
Lorand has been with Copiii de Cristal for more then 11 years. He is verbal and can manage daily basic activities such as tying his shoe laces, dressing, undressing, washing dishes, etc. However, some activities that require precision are difficult for him to do and triggers tremors. What causes this is hard to diagnose. Also, he is hard to read since his body language and facial expressions are missing, etc. Only the tone of his voice sometimes adds little nuances to his words.
Lorand has high delays in development, being so dependent on his mother to an extent that he doesn't do anything without her approval. Moreover, he is also obedient to his mother's words and uses them repeatedly when he is feeling insecure, anxious, or pushed in doing something against her will. This doesn't apply when, instead, someone else is saying the exact thing what his mother would say. Therapy is essential to improve Lorand's condition and give him better chances to live independently, without the need of a full-time caretaker.
